ABOUT ALYN

Meet Jade Johnson.

I’m Jade, the founder of Alyn. I’ve spent my career inside ambitious, founder-led businesses, building People and hiring functions, shaping culture and working closely with the people behind the vision.

My experience spans early-stage companies, Series A and B startups and rapidly growing scale-ups with international teams and offices. I’ve hired and helped build large teams across the UK, Europe, the US, Australia and the Middle East, from specialist roles through to executive appointments.

I bring that experience to founders building their businesses, teams finding their way through growth and individuals figuring out their next move.

I’ve helped build it from the inside.

I know how closely a founder’s ambition and a team’s everyday experience are connected, and how easily a gap can open up between them as a business grows.

My work has ranged from defining values and behaviours to building onboarding experiences, introducing team communication and wellbeing initiatives, and finding the people to take a business forward. I’ve facilitated leadership offsites, hosted town halls and brought teams together around conversations that needed to happen.

Working across countries has also taught me to pay attention to context. A shared culture needs to mean something to people in different offices, markets and working environments.

That experience shapes the questions I ask and the advice I give. I think about what an idea will take to introduce, how people might experience it and what will help it become part of everyday working life.

WHY ALYN EXISTS

Experience worth sharing.

I created Alyn to make that experience available at the moments it can make a difference.

For a founder, that might mean an honest conversation with someone who understands the personal investment behind the business. For a team, it might mean putting thought and intention into how they work together as they grow.

For an individual, it might mean making sense of a career decision, preparing for an interview or finding the words to explain what they bring. After more than 12 years in hiring, I understand how much experience and potential can go unrecognised when someone struggles to tell their story.

I listen closely. Then we work out what will help.

People often open up to me quickly. I take that trust seriously.

I’m warm, curious and direct. I notice patterns, ask questions and help put words to things that can be hard to explain. Sometimes that means connecting what I’m hearing across a team. Sometimes it means reflecting a strength someone has overlooked or naming a tension that hasn’t yet been acknowledged.

I bring ideas, creativity and a willingness to get involved. Together, we make sense of what’s happening and turn the conversation into something useful, whether that’s a clearer message, a different way of working or a next step you feel ready to take.
